Dear GOP: Stay out of my uterus!
.....if I still had a uterus. Just as I can't take the GOP seriously when they whine about government spending after their last tenure squandered a surplus by spiraling into debt for wars and tax cuts for the wealthy, it is equally hard for me to take them seriously when they praise smaller government while, at the same time, they are all up in our private lives. Get this into your thick skulls: abortion is a medical procedure. The GOP has no right nor any invitation to comment on women's decisions about their medical care.

What always blows my mind is that the same folks who scream about abortions offer no other solutions...they act like putting your child up for adoption is even WORSE (but then I live in the southern US where you're expected to keep your child even if you have no hope of being able to properly taking care of it).

Scratch - Good point. This election has candidates with more extreme views on women's lives. I hope women will turn out at the polls. Otherwise, birth control may be the next thing to go. Thanks for commenting, Scratch.
