Nashville Under Water

While I was out enjoying my weekend, the city in which I previously lived was drowning. Heavy rains caused the Cumberland River and other water sources to rise, flooding downtown and surrounding areas.  LP field, home of the Tennessee Titans and the Music City Miracle, is covered with water.

Reports are that water has closed Vietnam Veterans Parkway in Goodlettsville, leading to Hendersonville and Gallatin, and that water is standing in Goodlettsville's Moss Wright Park and some houses within my old neighborhood. Thoughts are with everyone in the Davidson and Sumner counties.
