Ten members of the Ku Klux Klan assembled at the Fulton Chapel on the Ole Miss campus to protest the removal of the pep song "From Dixie With Love" in which some students shouted "the South will rise again". They were met by a boisterous crowd of students, faculty, fans and a group, One Mississippi, who had organized a response by reciting the OM Creed and wearing T-shirts with "Turn Your Back on Hate" on their backs.

This lone black police officer is standing there to protect the right to assemble and free speech of the KKK at Ole Miss. I thought this was a wonderful example of one of life's circles. For text and videos of this event, go to KKK Rally at Ole Miss: Klan Outnumbered By Protesters.
