Welcome back, Poquita! You have the most interesting face. I'm just noticing this because you've never allowed me to get close enough to see it.
Poquita is a member of my extended family of pets; she was the main auction item at a benefit for the Espanola Animal Shelter Benefit in Santa Fe, New Mexico. If I recall, Poquita raised a lot of money for Espanola; she is worth every penny and holds a special place in the heart of my brother, Tom.
Welcome back, Whoozit! I have had the pleasure of your company up close and personal.
Whoozit had a much different path to our extended family. He was abandoned at the Cochiti Pueblo in New Mexico. A Cochiti friend, Janelle, brought him to my brother after the death of Guido, a very special cat who died on the day after Thanksgiving in 2006. He was named Whoozit after the favorite toy of grandson Noah, who died when he was only 2 1/2 years old.
Aren't they beauties?

Two cuties!
Pam - Aren't they? I like when cats have a good story to be told. My brother is certainly happy to have them back with him now.
