What I learned from Alabama's game against Tennessee today:
1. If your lucky shirt is in the dirty clothes, take it out and wear it anyway.
2. Don't start blogging about your win until the game is over.
3. Never be too confident when your team is in the SEC.
4. Thank the football gods for 'Mount' Terrence Cody and Leigh Tiffin!

I didn't watch because my husband is out of town and he is the big football fan. I know, I think it's probably against the law that I live in TN and I didn't watch the game.
I'm glad they won. Don't tell my dad, but I was cheering for Bama. I was at his house for the last 4 seconds, and I yelled "Yay!" when the field goal was blocked. I don't think he heard though :)
Pam - Not watching football is why you get so much more done than I do!
bailey - Really?! I'll have to admit UT beat themselves more than UA won the game but, hey, whatever it takes! I never thought there would be a second blocked field goal.
An ugly W is better than a beautiful L any day. LSU, Auburn, Florida, National Championship? Sure would like to see some offense. If they don't trust McElroy to throw to Julio, just snap it to him!
Tom - I felt better about the game after listening to Coach Saban's post-game. He said the QB played better, thus they would have to start believing in him to make big plays. He said they had to be less "risk-aversive", particularly when Ingram and the run are shut down.
He said the team was mentally tired and banged up after the last three games so the BYE week comes at a good time. LSU is next; they looked good against Auburn last night but AU didn't give them much of a game.
UT made big mistakes; UA made big plays. (Me, not Saban.) Saban used the term, "fragile". I can't believe there are only four regular season games remaining! Where did the season go??
